Cbank: Russian ruble real effective rate falls 17.5% in March
MOSCOW, Apr 12 (PRIME) -- The real effective rate of the Russian ruble fell by 17.5% on the month in March, the central bank said on Tuesday citing preliminary data.
In real terms, the ruble fell by 20.5% against the U.S. dollar and by 18.2% against the euro, while the nominal ruble rate decreased by 25.4% against the U.S. dollar and by 23.3% against the euro.
In January–March, the ruble’s real effective rate decreased by 21.6%.
